Cockroaches undergo three stages of growth: egg, nymph, and adult. They belong to the category of insects with incomplete metamorphosis (hemimetabolous development).
The common cockroach species in Hong Kong are the American Cockroach, the Australian Cockroach, and the German Cockroach.
They have flat bodies and are extremely agile. Some species are capable of flight but rarely fly. They can squeeze into extremely narrow spaces and have strong adaptability, allowing them to thrive in most urban environments.
Almost any human food is a target for them. They particularly favour starchy foods, sugary items, greasy/oily foods, and meat products. They will even consume toothpaste, tea residue, beer, and soap.

Baiting, Spraying and Misting
These methods are applied in areas where cockroaches are likely to appear or hide, especially in hard-to-reach cracks, crevices, drains, pipes, and other indoor gaps.
Professional insecticide spraying or misting creates an effective barrier that provides long-term control of cockroach breeding. The active ingredients not only kill cockroaches that come into direct contact with the treatment, but also leverage the cockroaches’ natural cannibalistic behaviour. Through secondary transmission (secondary poisoning), other cockroaches become infected and eventually die.

Ants are insects that undergo complete metamorphosis, progressing through the stages of egg, larva, pupa, and finally emerging as adults.
Ants are highly social creatures that typically build nests. An ant colony is divided into four main castes: queen ants, male ants, worker ants, and soldier ants, each with specific roles and responsibilities.

Before carrying out any treatment, the most effective approach is to locate the ants’ nesting sites and identify their entry points and foraging trails.
Control Measures:
Baiting
Baiting is particularly effective for ant control. We use various formulations such as liquid, granular, gel, and paste baits, which are placed in pre-prepared bait stations or applied directly in strategic locations after professional assessment. Worker ants carry the bait back to the nest, allowing the insecticide to reach a lethal level and eventually eliminate the entire colony.
Spraying and Misting
Insecticides can be applied through spraying or misting at nesting sites and active foraging areas. These treatments not only kill visible ants but also disrupt their pheromone trails. When applied around target areas (such as room perimeters or the building exterior), they create an effective barrier that prevents new ant colonies from entering.

Fleas are insects that undergo complete metamorphosis, with four life stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult.
Adult fleas must feed on blood to reproduce. Female fleas typically lay eggs on their host (humans or pets), producing around 20 eggs at a time. This makes the eggs easily spread through contact by the host.
Eggs are commonly found in areas where the host rests, which serve as primary breeding sites for eggs and concentrated habitats for larvae.

More than 3,500 species of mosquitoes have been discovered worldwide, while over 70 different species have been recorded in Hong Kong. Common species include the Chinese Anopheles, Asian Tiger Mosquito (White-striped Aedes), Multi-spotted Anopheles, Culex quinquefasciatus, and Culex tritaeniorhynchus.
Mosquitoes undergo complete metamorphosis, with four distinct life stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Generally, mosquito larvae can develop in water and emerge as adults within 4 to 10 days. Male mosquitoes typically live for about one week, while females can survive for 2 to 3 weeks.
Because adult mosquitoes have a much wider activity range, eliminating mosquito larvae in water is considered the golden period for effective mosquito control.

Source Reduction at Breeding Sites
Chemical Control
We apply appropriate larvicides to water bodies to kill mosquito larvae before they can develop into adult mosquitoes. This effectively stops the transmission and reproduction cycle of mosquitoes.
Physical Control
We eliminate stagnant water and other potential mosquito breeding sources. For water bodies that cannot be removed or drained, we use mosquito oil (larvicide oil) to cover the surface, cutting off oxygen supply and causing the larvae to suffocate and die.
